Summer Bishil, an American actress is most famous for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy show The Magicians. She had previously gained recognition as the character of the 13-year-old American Lebanese girl Jasira Maroun who undergoes turbulent personal struggles against the backdrop the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. In the following year she was voted one of Variety's Ten Actors to See.
